Many thanks to our 20 alumni who took part in the annual Career Lunch for our Level IV and V students on February 22. This year’s inspiring panel came to speak about their educational and professional experiences, knowing their expertise would add value as our students consider their own next steps.
Our keynote speaker, TFS alumna Courtney Evans ’02, a lawyer and actor, gave students a new perspective on change, saying, “If you have a long-term plan, that's wonderful. If you don't have a long-term plan, that's completely fine too. Either way, be open to change as you change and as the world around you changes. Depending on who you are, staying on the path or deciding to jump off the path both require courage and passion.”
Dr. Charles Knapp ’80, who was in the last class to graduate out of the Mildenhall campus and is a TFS parent himself, urged students to use their French and English as much as possible in their careers and lives, and to make use of TFS’ exceptional guidance department. He added that the IB program gives students “unbelievable training.”
It was inspiring to students to hear about the different educational and professional journeys taken by our alumni. Thanks again to: Dr. Charles Knapp ʼ80, Courtney Evans ʼ02, Adam Kadar ʼ03, Maia Rotin ʼ04, Lily Nourmansouri and Armen Bazarian ’05, Jesse Phipps-Williams, Jessica Thalmann and Arden Rogow-Bales ’06, Sacha Sawaya and Helena Van Tol ’07, Nicholas Arrigo and Fraser Plaxton ’08, Lauren Stark ʼ09, Jennifer Goldsmith ʼ10, Anne-Rachelle Boulanger ʼ11, Eli Bourassa and Anna Rhamey ’12 and Jonathan Kong and Taylor Dayal-Escutin ’13.
